This post contains details on a WordPress plugin that provides a custom block titled: Nested Block Slider. It uses Swiper which is a modern CSS (flex based) slider.

Most core WP blocks can be nested; you can extend this with other third-party blocks by reviewing the block names in source.
Block slider options
The block support slider functionality and has the following options:
- Grid fill (default column): column
- Slides per row/column: 1
- Direction (default horizontal): horizontal
- Autoplay: true/false
- Autoplay Delay (ms): 9500
- Pause on Hover: true/false
- Prevent clicks on slides
- Center slides: true/false
- Slide Transition Effect: Fade/Cube/Coverflow/Flip/Cards/Creative
- Apply crossFade effect?: true/false
- Slide transition speed (ms): 300
Customisations & theming
The Swiper bundle (11.2.8) styles are included; no custom styles are applied directly by this; should you need to make tweaks/customisations (and you likely will) you will need to include any custom styles in your theme or by other means.
